What we did
- We successfully applied for and secured the TOV (Trading Online Voucher) to cover half of Brannigans’ marketing costs.
- We optimised her Google My Business & Google Maps accounts to ensure strong SEO across the web
- We optimised Brannigans’ GMB and Google Maps profiles with SEO friendly text, high quality images and positive customer reviews to build trust with potential customers and widen their online visibility
- We added SEO basics for small businesses to the front and back end of Brannigans’ website so that it would feature highly on search results
- We completed ‘Basic SEO’ for an extra visibility boost on Google

SEO Timeline
After we completed work on Brannigan’s website, we applied the best SEO practices to every page, optimising each of them with keywords related to what they wanted to be found for on Google.
Once this was done, we kicked off our basic SEO strategy, registering their new website on several high authority sites. This has provided great results as their rankings have steadily increased since the work was completed.
Week 1
We got to work researching the most optimum keywords to target for Brannigans in order to get them ranking highly and discovered by all the ideal customers searching for a pub like theirs.
Week 2-3
Keywords ready, our team set about implementing them into the front and back end of Brannigans’ website, ensuring it could be read and understood by Google. We then registered Brannigans’ site on many reputable websites, gaining Google’s recognition.
Week 10-12
With Stage One now complete, it was time to get to work on Stage Two, where we’d use the power of SEO to create blog posts and FAQs that included Brannigans’ keywords. This further improved their ranking and kept them ranking highly long-term.
The Results
Brannigans were able to start witnessing results within a few weeks of us implementing our tailored SEO basics for small businesses, and continued to increase in the months to follow leading to a significant increase in ideal customers discovering their website and making bookings and enquiries via it. SEO success!
The Next Steps
Now that they have their SEO well underway, the next steps moving forward for Brannigans would be to focus on developing their social media accounts, building a sense of community amongst their followers and attracting new customers through engaging content.
