SEO Case Study

Top Style is a salon furniture and equipment supplier that caters for the whole of Ireland. Because of this, their SEO strategy had to spread nationwide, so we developed a tailored SEO for ecommerce store strategy that would get them ranking highly in Google search results across the country. Let’s take a look at how we did it.

The Proof

In just 3 months, Top Style went from lurking in the online shadows to ranking second on Google search results for important keywords such as ‘salon equipment in Dublin’, ‘salon fittings in Dublin’, ‘salon equipment delivery in Dublin’ ‘salon furniture in South Dublin’ and currently rank first for ‘salon fittings in Leinster’ and ‘salon equipment in Leinster’.

In order to further strengthen their SEO across the web, we optimised Top Style’s Google My Business and Google Maps profiles with high quality images, SEO friendly text and more customer reviews to give the business validity. These steps alone increased their click-through rate ten fold.

What we did

  • We successfully applied for the €2,500 grant from the Irish government on behalf of Top Style, covering half of their costs
  • We optimised Top Style’s Google My Business and Google Maps profiles to increase customer activity on these platforms as well as to ensure their SEO was approached from all angles
  • We optimised every page of Top Style’s website with SEO for ecommerce stores so that it would be found on Google by their ideal customers
  • We did ‘Basic SEO’ to earn points with Google and boost their ranking

Week 1

Our team got to work researching the best keywords to target when it comes to SEO for ecommerce stores, tailoring our selection to obtain the best results for Top Style specifically.

Week 2-3

We began implementing these keywords into the front and back end of Top Style’s website so it could be properly read by Google. Then, we registered Top Style’s website on a number of websites with high domain authorities to earn Google’s approval.

Week 10-12

Foundations in place, we got started on advanced SEO strategies; writing SEO optimised blog posts and FAQs which we continue to do today, ensuring Top Style keep a hold of their top spot.

The Results

The results are in the Google search results! Ranking in the top three search results for their targeted keywords meant that Top Style experienced a huge increase in visitors, enquiries and sales from their website!
